HomeSleepTest REM+
The HomeSleepTest REM+ from SOMNOmedics offers a further option for the objective diagnosis of sleep disorders. The device records the same 11 signals for determining sleep quality and fragmentation as our HST. The flexible positioning of the individual adhesive electrodes makes the Screener ideal for paediatric use and for research purposes.
The sensor used is automatically recognised and the tablet guides the patient through the application with the appropriate videos.
The HomeSleepTest REM+ is applied using four separate disposable adhesive electrodes. The AASM-compliant position of the EOG electrodes improves the recording of horizontal and vertical eye movements and facilitates the evaluation of REM sleep. The flexible positioning of the individual adhesive electrodes makes the HomeSleepTest REM+ particularly suitable for paediatric use (when the forehead is too narrow for the 3-button electrode) and for research purposes (when the position of the EOG electrodes plays a special role).
